Independence Day is an installation of seven life-size photographic prints that obliquely document a gathering of people celebrating the history of American revolutionary action. The technological ability of the camera to document time-based events was intentionally utilized to record these multiple perspectives. ┬áLike a silent witness, the camera can chronicle and sometimes capture truths of what might otherwise remain unseen.
